Las Vegas, NV — A newly released poll from Providence, conducted from October 22-23, 2024, shows Donald Trump leading Kamala Harris in the Nevada presidential race. The survey results indicate Trump at 50.6% compared to 46.8% for Harris, marking a significant shift from August polling done by Providence, where Harris led Trump 49.2% to 43.6%.
“Our latest data underscores the growing momentum for Republicans as we head into the final stretch of the campaign,” said Woodrow Johnston, Republican strategist and co-director of Providence Polling. “This movement, combined with strong early voting returns for the GOP, suggests that Nevada is trending red.”
Key Findings:
- Donald Trump: 50.6%
- Kamala Harris: 46.8%
- Chase Oliver (Libertarian): 1.1%
- Joel Skousen (Independent American Party): 0.2%
- None of These Candidates: 1.3%
The poll surveyed 538 likely voters using SMS/Text-to-Web methods, with a ±4% margin of error. It was post-stratified on age, gender, race, party registration, and media market, reflecting 2024 turnout projections.
This shift aligns with growing Republican enthusiasm, as seen in early voting trends across Nevada and other battleground states. Providence Polling has no clients involved in the presidential race.
